Studio Underd0g is slowly gaining recognition as a humorous food-themed watch brand. This collection continues Studio Underd0g’s food-themed watches, following the Watermel0n, pizza watches, and Salm0n dials. Their latest collection is a collaboration with Wristcheck called The Uneggspected Series, featuring the B0iled Egg, Fried Egg, and R0tten Egg.

The idea behind the Studio Underd0g x Wristcheck Uneggspected Series was simple, according to Rich. He jokes, “Let’s be honest. How many people really track lap times with their watch these days? It’s time to celebrate a new approach to the chronograph, one that will ensure perfectly cooked eggs every time.”
Design And Details of The Uneggspected Series
Enough of the appetite dish, let’s get to the main ones. The Studio Underd0g x Wristcheck Uneggspected Series features three variations of the third generation of the British microbrand’s well-known 01Series Chronograph. First, Fried Egg, designed with a bright golden dial and vibrant yellow highlights. Next is the B0iled Egg has a light yellow dial with eggshell accents and a white minute/tachymeter track. Lastly, the R0tten Egg, which surprisingly looks appealing, has a green dial with speckles on its minute track and chronograph subdial. Normally, you wouldn’t want a rotten egg, but this is one you’ll definitely want more of.
All three egg-themed versions are housed in the same case as the 3rd generation 01Series Chronograph. This case measures 38.5mm in width and 12.9mm in thickness, featuring a larger crown for easier winding.
The watches are powered by the manually wound ST-1901B, a special version of the Seagull ST-19 made exclusively for Studio Underd0g. It has a black main plate and is regulated in the UK to work within -10/+15 seconds per day. The watches come with both a Saffiano leather strap and a steel Milanese bracelet..
So, if you were excited about these watches and wanted one, I’m sorry to inform you that the B0iled Egg and Fried Egg were limited to 200 pieces each, while only 90 R0tten Egg models were produced—all of which sold out in seconds for $800.
