30th Anniversary of the Lange 1

A. Lange & Söhne has commemorated the 30th anniversary of the Lange 1 with four special limited editions in two separate sizes: a classic 38.5mm Lange 1 and a smaller version of it, 36.8mm Little Lange. There are also two unique and rare color and material combinations: a platinum case with a black onyx dial and a rose gold case with a blue-silver dial.

The outsized date, power reserve, and subsidiary seconds are on the right along a vertical axis, while the hour and minute circle, with Roman numerals and lancet-shaped appliques, is on the left. Even 30 years since its introduction, the displays’ proportions adhere to the golden ratio, guaranteeing a harmonious and classic appearance.

For the first time, the new anniversary models in 950 platinum feature onyx, a rare gemstone with a jet-black shimmering surface. Rarely found in fine timepieces, onyx gives these limited editions a compelling touch.

Not surprisingly, given that it’s the 30th anniversary of the Lange 1 with a unique dial execution, A. Lange & Söhne chose to limit this collection. Therefore, there will only be 300 Classic Lange 1s for the 30th anniversary and 150 Little Lange 1s for the same.
