Design and Details of The Orient Bambino Limited Edition
Case
The Orient Bambino Limited Edition comes in a stainless steel case measuring 38.4mm wide, 12.5mm thick, and 44mm lug-to-lug, which are appealing proportions. The watch is topped with a domed mineral glass, though it would be nice to see a plexiglass or sapphire option for added character. It has a water resistance of 30 meters.
Dial
The new The Orient Bambino Limited Edition features two colors: baby blue and copper, both with a subtle sunray finish and matte appearance. While there was a similar copper-colored model released a couple of months ago, this new version has a darker shade. The watch retains the applied and faceted silver indices, faceted hands, and a minute’s track around the edge. There’s also a date display at 3 o’clock with a white date wheel.
Power
Inside, it houses the well-known in-house F6724 automatic movement, which operates at 3Hz and has a 40-hour power reserve, with an accuracy of +25/-15 seconds per day. Both watches come with a matching 20mm brown calf leather strap.
The new color options for the Orient Bambino 38mm are limited, with the blue dial available in 6,500 pieces and the copper in 2,500 pieces. The price for both is $330. For more information, visit the Orient website.
