Mr Jones ecLIPSe is the latest creation from Mr Jones Watches, a brand known for its unique and playful designs that always bring something unexpected. For example, the Feline Fine watch captures collective emotions on Blue Monday, known as the year’s most depressing day. With Valentine’s Day approaching, they’ve introduced a watch designed by British illustrator Newton Davey. Instead of a typical heart theme, this watch features a yellow sun and a metallic crescent moon that meet every hour for a kiss.
Mr Jones ecLIPSe, The Sun And Moon Limited Edition
The case is in the familiar Mr. Jones style, with a round shape and slim lugs. It measures 37mm in width, 46mm lug-to-lug, and offers 50 meters of water resistance. The black PVF-coated case houses a single-jewel quartz movement protected by a sapphire crystal. The Mr Jones ecLIPSe is paired with an 18mm black stainless steel bracelet.

The dial stands out with a mix of fluorescent inks, metal leaf, and water gilding, creating a layered effect. Time is read uniquely: the longest ray of the sun indicates the hour, while the tip of the crescent moon points to the minutes. When the hands align, the sun and moon appear to kiss, adding a charming touch.

Rather than a traditional limited edition, Mr Jones Watches offers the ecLIPSe as a timed edition. Mr Jones ecLIPSe will be available on Wednesday, February 5th, between 8 AM and 8 PM GMT. Anyone who orders within this 12-hour window will secure a watch. To get one, visit the Mr Jones website on release day.
