Case

Hull Diver Spongebob SquarePants are based on Spinnaker’s Hull Diver, a cushion-shaped watch with short lugs and prominent crown guards, now featuring an all-black coating. They measure 42mm wide, 15mm thick, and have a 50mm lug-to-lug. They resemble other famous dive watches but come at a much lower price, offering 200 meters of water resistance. The unidirectional bezels have alternating baton and numeral markers for a 60-minute timer, along with an arrow on top that matches the dial colors.

Dial

The dials on these models are less obviously SpongeBob than previous releases, which had character illustrations. Here, the characters are rendered almost as a texture on the black dials. There are four versions of the watch-themed after SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs, featuring the colors of each character. The color is present in the dial highlights, index surrounds bezel markings, and hands.

Power

Inside the watches is the well-known Seiko NH35 movement. It may not be accurate, but it is easy to service, operates at 21,600 beats per hour, and has a 41-hour power reserve. The watches come with a simple rubber strap that matches the character’s color.
