The unique watch brand Farr + Swit, well known for its amazing attention to the 1980s vaporwave theme, has brought back the Solar Chrono Vice, one of its best-selling models. Their limited edition debut release was quickly sold out. This new one comes in the same colors but inverted and comes in an endless bundle.

Solar Chrono Vice 2.0 – Bubblegum
Dial
The Chrono Vice features a polished bezel and pushers, with a primarily brushed finish. Despite a not-so-narrow bezel, the focus is on the dial, giving the case a larger look than its 42mm diameter and 12.5mm thickness suggest. It also offers 100-meter water resistance.
The o’clock sub-dial showcases a vibrant yellow sunset, while the main dial is adorned with a three-dimensional neon pink grid pattern reminiscent of the 80s visual art style, the vaporwave. Everything is thoughtfully illuminated, including the date window, sub-dials, markers, logo, chronograph hands, and the teal ring surrounding the dial, all featuring Grade X EF Super-LumiNova C3 green for enhanced visibility.
Power
The Solar Chrono also uses the same solar-powered meca-quartz movement as the Seiko VS71A. Just five hours of sunlight provides enough energy for up to six months of use. The dial features a running second sub-dial at 6 o’clock and a 60 minute counter at 12 o’ clock.
The new Farr + Swit Solar Chrono Vice 2.0-Bubblegum is no longer a limited edition and is now available for pre-order, with deliveries expected in December, priced at $525. You can visit the Farr + Swit website for more details.
