Porsche Introduces The Stunning Chronograph 1 F.A.T. 2025 Edition

The Chronograph 1 F.A.T. 2025 Edition arrives alongside the return of the F.A.T. International team to Zell am See, Austria, for another installment of the Ice Race. This special edition of the Porsche Design Chronograph 1 features a bold contrast between its black case and bright white dial, accented with black markings and vivid red details.

Ice Race

The Ice Race, formerly the GP Ice Race, is a recurring event often held in Zell am See, continuing the mid-century tradition of driving high-performance cars on ice or snow. Recently revived under the leadership of Ferdi Porsche, the event combines elements of a car show, racing, and a music festival into one exciting winter spectacle.

Chronograph 1 F.A.T. 2025 Edition

The Chronograph 1 F.A.T. 2025 Edition has a titanium case coated in matte black titanium carbide, a signature feature of Porsche Design chronographs. It measures 40.80mm in width and 14.15mm in thickness, with a sapphire crystal on top and a titanium case back engraved with a silhouette of the Porsche 962. It offers 100 meters of water resistance.

The standout feature is its fully white dial, which is coated in white Super-LumiNova. This gives it a slightly off-white appearance in daylight and a bright green glow in the dark. Black indices, numbers, and hands provide contrast, along with a bright red central chronograph seconds hand. At night, two hidden details appear: the F.A.T. International logo beneath the Porsche Design text and a silhouette of the Porsche 962 within the 12-hour counter, where the 9 and 2 are visible only in lume, while the 6 remain in place as a marker. Additionally, the day display replaces Saturday and Sunday with “F.A.T.” in honor of the weekend-long race.

The Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.240 is inside. While based on the Valjoux 7750, it was developed in collaboration with Concepto and made exclusively for Porsche Design. The watch features a flyback function, operates at 4Hz, has a 48-hour power reserve, and is COSC-certified. The rotor carries the Porsche Design logo. The watch comes with three strap options: a matte black titanium bracelet and a long white textile strap with the F.A.T.

The Chronograph 1 F.A.T. 2025 Edition is limited to 136 pieces and became available for purchase on February 1st, the first day of the F.A.T. Ice Race. It is priced at €12,000.
